Drive Hart’s IMPACT-LEARN programme offers learner drivers a clearly defined and professional coaching experience, which is also fun.
It is built on our values and 6 important principles which guide our operations and delivery:

- Safety | Impact: Our ethos is focused on safety, ensuring each student becomes a safe, confident, competent, and responsible driver for life, who is ready for test.
- Defined Syllabus | Active Support: We use a transparent, step-by-step curriculum aligned with National Standards in driver training, so learners always know what’s expected and how to succeed.
- Parent Support | IT | Social: We work proactively with parents and students, offering online support (podcasts, webinars) and use My Drive Time IT & Student App to ensure you have visibility on progress and costs.
- Outstanding Instruction/Coaching Standards: Instructors are trained by Drive Hart, and we maintain outstanding first-time pass rates and actively monitor the quality of teaching practice and update on new methods.
- High Operating Standards | Safeguarding: Operating standards and Safeguarding checks are routinely undertaken to ensure students are safeguarded.

Drive Hart’s IMPACT-LEARN programme encompasses a structured approach to helping those with confidence-building, or a desire to refresh driving skills. We can step you through the process below:
You start by having a free confidential chat with Sarah Hart. This helps us understand your requirements and ensure we match you to the right instructor for your needs.
Once you indicate you want to go ahead with a confidence or refresher session. We identify the most suitable instructor for your needs.
The nominated Drive Hart Instructor will ring you to check your availability and make the necessary arrangements for your driving session, and go though a licence check.
All our Drive Hart Instructors are trained by Sarah Hart, Director and Lead Trainer at Drive Hart, and this focuses on creating a calm, enjoyable learning experience for our clients, which can be seen in our Google reviews feedback:

INTERNATIONAL | TO UK
Drive Hart’s IMPACT programme offers a structured approach to training those who come from abroad to the UK and wish to learn more about our road systems, rules and regulations and/or get a UK Driving Licence.
The first port of call is to check your licence status with .Gov Link: Driving in Great Britain on a non-GB licence – GOV.UK. This will ensure you know whether you can exchange/convert or have to take the UK Driving Test.
Once you know your licence status, call us to discuss your training requirements, outlining what driving experience you have. We can then match you to an instructor subject to your availability.
Top Tip: English Comprehension – if you are taking lessons / UK Driving Test – you will need to be able to understand and respond to directions from Instructors and examiners in English. At this time, interpreters are not permitted in UK

Drive Hart has a range of key supports for parents, students and instructors.
- WHATSAPP CHAT: We maintain a 24.7 WhatsApp message/contact line on 071919 488360 to respond to parents’ and students’ queries or concerns.
- SOCIAL MEDIA: Drive Hart sponsors Meta support groups on social media – Facebook, YouTube, Podcast Directories like Spotify, offering advice, guidance and resource links all of which can be accessed via links below or via our social linktree on https://linktr.ee/drivehart
- PODCAST SUPPORT: We sponsor a podcast channel called “Teaching a learner to Drive?” Series 1 offers some key tips for parents and students.
- IT | MOBILE SUPPORT: Drive Hart uses MyDriveTime for diary and student lesson records. Students and parents can access a link to resources, lesson notes, and records of fees paid via a mobile Student App
Drive Hart takes data security and safeguarding our clients very seriously. Drive Hart and all our associate instructors are registered with Information Commissioners Office. our IT systems are password (cloud based) secure systems.

Drive Hart’s IMPACT programme is secured by a robust approach to safeguarding and monitoring lesson standards.
Our approach to safeguarding and securing training standards includes:
- All Drive Hart Instructors work to the DVSA Code of Practice and the Drive Hart Standards of Operation and these standards are routinely monitored by our Directors.
- Drive Hart Directors respond to all feedback, which can be seen in our Google reviews, and make every effort to ensure each lesson meets our published standards and is a positive learning experience.
- Drive Hart operates a complaints investigation scheme and support the DVSA complaints process.
- All Drive Hart instructors are regularly reviewed by the ORDIT qualified directing staff, ensuring they meet DVSA National standards for learner training, and our syllabus complies with NDVSA National Standards for Driving
- Our instructors receive regular training and input on teaching and safeguading issues.
- Drive Hart Directors are nominated / Trained Safeguarding Officers, with responsibility to monitor key indicators and seek feedback on our performance.
Drive Hart Directors actively support the Fear Free – Emergency Stop campaign to make driver training a safeguarding industry to protect young persons.
